Day 01: Arrive Varanasi

Varanasi, located in Uttar Pradesh state of India is considered as oldest living cities in the world and most sacred city in Hinduism. The cultural city of Varanasi is also famous as Benares and was known as Kashi in ancient times. Arrive Varanasi and check into your pre booked Hotel. Evening participate in the grand Aarti ceremony on sacred ghats of Ganges. Overnight stay at Varanasi.

 

 

Day 02: Sightseeing of Varanasi and Sarnath
Morning start the day with a boat ride on the holy river Ganges to experience early sacred rituals and offerings on Ghats. After breakfast enjoy temple and city tour of Varanasi visiting, Durga Temple, Sankat Mochan Temple, Bharat Mata Temple and Benaras Hindu University. Later in the day enjoy excursion tour to Sarnath – 10 Kms from Varanasi, where Lord Buddha preached his sermon after attaining enlightment. Visit Dhamekh Stupa built by Emperor Ashok in 249 BC and Chaukhandi Stupa built in 5th century AD, Sarnath Archaeological Museum has an impressive collection of artifacts collected from the excavation site of Sarnath, including India’s national emblem- the Ashoka Stambh. Overnight stay at Varanasi.

 

 

Day 03: Departure from Varanasi
In time transfer to Varanasi Airport for your flight to your next destination.
