Day 01: Arrive Gangtok

Arrive Gangtok – a charming traditional Himalayan town perched at an altitude of 1520 Mtrs, is the capital city of Himalayan state Sikkim in India and offers unspoilt natural beauty, peaceful Monasteries and Stupas. Evening free to stroll the rich handicraft market of Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok.    

 

 

Day 02: Sightseeing of Gangtok and Excursion to Tsongmo (Changu) Lake
Today start you day with visit to picturesque Tsongmo Lake at an altitude of 12, 400 Ft. Later in the day enjoy sightseeing tour of Gangtok visiting, Do Drul Chorten is an important stupa in India famous for its sacred gold topped dome with 108 prayer wheels, Enchey Monastery, Tashi Ling providing an astounding view of the Kanchenjunga Himalayan ranges, Namgyal Institute holding world’s largest collection of books and rare manuscripts on Mahayana Buddhism, Tsuk La Khang the principle place of worship and assembly for local Buddhists. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
