Day 01: Arrive Shimla

Drive to Shimla, located 370 Kms north of Delhi. Shimla at an altitude of 2130 Mtrs is one of the most famous hill retreats in India and was summer capital of India during the British Raj. Britishers left India in 1947 but buildings of Shimla in Tudor and Neo-Gothic style of architecture still reminds of the colonial era. UNESCO Heritage Toy train serving Shimla from Kalka on 96 Kms stretch was laid in 1903 AD, and a ride on it is a memorable experience. Arrive Shimla and check into designated resort. Evening visit Mall road, most happening center in Shimla. Overnight stay at Shimla.

 

Day 02: Excursion Tour to Chail and Kufri
Enjoy full day excursion to Chail & Kufri. Chail 45 Kms from Shimla is a refreshing setting, surrounded by lush green forest of deodars and heavily scented pines. Chail at an altitude of 2250 Mtrs offers a commanding view of Himalayas, and is prided abode of world highest altitude cricket ground. Kufri at an altitude of 2622 Mtrs offers beautiful scenes of panoramic Himalayas. Kufri is also a hot spot for skiers, and offers great slopes for beginners as well as for experienced skiers. Evening return back to Shimla for overnight stay.

 

Day 03: Sightseeing Tour of Shimla and Departure from Shimla
Morning enjoy local sightseeing tour of Shimla, visiting Christ church, Scandal point, Gaiety Theatre, Jakhu Temple, Raj Bhawan and Viceregal Lodge. Afternoon departure from Shimla for your next destination.
