Day 01:  Arrive Madurai

Historical city of Madurai with history of over 2500 years is also known as Athens of East. Arrive Madurai and check in to your designated Hotel. Day is free to relax. Overnight stay at Madurai. 

 

 

Day 02: Madurai Sightseeing
Enjoy sightseeing tour of Madurai visiting 13th century grand Meenakshi Temple, dedicated to Shiva as Sundareshwarar with his consort Goddess Meenakshi. The Temple with exquisite soaring gopurams adorned with figures of Gods, Goddesses and mythical animals reveal superb example of Dravidian architecture and is one of the greatest attraction for the tourists in South India. Other important sights to be covered in Madurai sightseeing tour are charming Thirumalai Nayakan Palace, The Temple of Art Museum, Koodal Azhagar Temple, Mariamman Temple and Gandhi Museum. Overnight stay at Madurai.   

 

Day 03: Departure from Madurai
