Day 01: Arrive Haridwar and Haridwar Sightseeing

Arrive holy city of Haridwar meaning gateway to God is located in the hill state of Uttrakhand in India. The city is also renowned as town of Ganges as the river touches the plains of North India running from Himalayas at Haridwar. The city is also venue for famous Kumbh mela and is one of the most important pilgrimage sights in Hinduism. Enjoy Haridwar sightseeing visiting Har Ki – Pauri is the most sacred Ghat (Bathing bank) on Ganges is also the venue for evening Maha Aarti on Ganges and pulls thousands of devotees and tourists daily to participate in the Aarti ceremony, Bharat Mata Temple, Mansa Devi Temple and Chandi Devi Temple. Overnight stay at Haridwar.

 

 

Day 02: Rishikesh Sightseeing. Excursion to Vasisth Gupha. White water rafting on Ganges

Today enjoy sightseeing of Rishikesh - last post for Holy River Ganges in Himalayas, the town is renowned as Yoga & Meditation capital of the world. Visit Parmarth Ashram one of the most renowned Ashram in Rishikesh with its large courtyard crammed with brightly clad Gods and Goddess, Lakshman Jhula and Ram Jhula  the suspension bridges on Ganges, Muni Ki Reti chief  bathing Ghat on Ganges, and Bharat Mandir. Later drive along Ganges 20 Kms uphill to Vasisth Gupha, where great philosopher and writer of Hindu Epic Ramayana meditated. Time to go adventurous enjoy white water rafting on Ganges. Evening free to relax. Overnight stay at Rishikesh.

 

Day 03: Departure from Rishikesh
