Day 01: Rickshaw Ride of Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary

Birders paradise Keoladev Ghana National Park is also famous as Bharat Pur bird sanctuary. The park is home to more than 400 rare species of habitant and migratory birds and is ranked among some of the best bird sanctuaries in the world. Some habitant species of birds to name are open bill storks, egrets, grey herons, black headed ibis, cormorants, pipits, larks, waterfowl, sleeping nightjars and migratory visitors such as bar-headed geese, pied – crested cuckoo, garganey, Baikal teals, little grebe, greylag geese etc. Arrive Bharatpur and explore the bird sanctuary by a two hour rickshaw ride.
